Stage 3 – Skills Assessment (Panel Beaters and Mechanics)

For panel beaters and mechanics, a skills assessment is mandatory, exempting spray painters. While not required for entry on a 400 visa, it becomes necessary when transitioning to a 482 visa.

This assessment incurs two costs. The worker covers the assessment fee, and some employers may consider a loan agreement to assist with this cost. The professional services cost, covering application coordination with the assessment company and the applicant, is a time-consuming task. While you can handle this yourself, we recommend our visa agent’s assistance.

For the worker’s cost, an initial payment of $1,000 is required upfront, with the remaining $3,470 covered by the employer through a loan agreement. This agreement is designed to ensure mutual benefit for both parties involved and potentially speed up the visa application process. To review the loan agreement, please click here.

  • Following the SBS and Nomination application there will need to be a visa application that has its own separate costs, and the total price of this visa application will vary depending on many factors. If family is migrating with the applicant, this fee, however, can be paid by either the applicant or the company.
  • We can also accommodate for companies who wish to pay for the applicant’s visa only, and then the applicant be responsible for the migrating family’s costs

Stage 4.1 – Deployment Documentation (For Filipino Workers Only)

  • The deployment process for Filipino workers leaving the Philippines to work abroad is complex and time-consuming. These essential documents can only be lodged once a visa is approved, and they must be prepared beforehand. All costs associated with lodging and consultation are included in the recruitment fees.

Stage 5 – Flights

Bodyshop Recruit (BSR) offers flight arrangement services for workers upon deployment, or employers have the option to handle flight arrangements independently.

When BSR arranges flights, a service fee of 10% of the total flight costs will be applied. Our team will diligently search for the most suitable flight options, considering factors such as travel times and cost-effectiveness.
