Training

Pre-arrival training
training once arrived

We always recommend iCar training for panel beaters and contact your paint company for spray painter training.

In most cases, your workers will need some retraining. They may not be familiar with the equipment you use and also may not understand the repair methods used in Australia.

We recommend you start them off slow on easy tasks until they understand how you want things done, and explain why you need it done this way. Then once you are happy with where they are, move them to doing other work.

As an example, for a panel beater, start off on R&R. How you store parts and label them, how you deal with supps once parts are removed, and then move them to small repairs. Show them what you expect and what grade papers to use. Once they understand that, move on to the simple welded panel replacement using manufacture repair methods. Something like a beaver panel with no or very little damage to the floor or rails.

By doing this and spending some time with them you will get a better result than just putting them straight into a bigger job..
